Historic Washington State Park hosts its annual summer concert series with the theme "Arkansas Roots." Free concerts include Harmony on Saturday, Aug. 17. The 11th annual Bedford Blues & BBQ Festival is Friday, Aug. 30, through Sunday, Sept. 1, at 2000 Forest Ridge Drive in Bedford, Texas. There will be a BBQ Triple Play competition with pitmasters competing for more than $20,000 in prizes over 14 categories, a marketplace and live music.
