A steadily rising star in Texas country music, Cody Jinks is making a Perot Theatre stop soon, an indicator he's hit the big time following the mid-2018 release of his latest album, "Lifers," out on Rounder Records.
Jinks returns to Texarkana for a concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8. The Steel Woods opens. Jinks is backed by his band, The Tone Deaf Hippies. Jinks has been a frequent visitor to the Texarkana area, playing shows at Scottie's Grill, Music City Texas Theater in Linden, Texas, and Shooters Sports Bar in recent years.
Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. Ticket prices range from $35 for some balcony seats to $165 for front row, orchestra-level seats. Tickets are also available for $40, $55, $69 and $95. An additional $1.50 is charged per ticket for Internet sales.
