LINDEN, Texas-An upcoming business awareness event combines runway fashions with music, dinner and a presentation by the Pleasant Hill Quilters.
On Feb. 23, Fashiontopia with a Twist of History 2019 features a runway-style fashion show with clothing from boutiques and clothing stores in Linden, Texarkana, Atlanta, and other area cities. The Pleasant Hill Quilters will discuss the secret quilt codes of the Underground Railroad and present song, dance and more. Solo singers will entertain and dinner will be provided.
The event is presented by the Original Mortgage Doctor from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Fairview Community Center. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
