L-EISD honors 3 at breakfast

Pat Henry, Sheila Sparkman and Lana Orr were honored at the Liberty-Eylau Independent School Districts community breakfast on Thursday. Henry, a former L-EISD teacher and administrator, received the 2007 C.K. Bender Educational Service Award from the 2006 recipient, Christina Walker, L-EISD school board president. ‘Its the greatest honor of my life’ said Henry. ‘It was a great 34 years working with a great school district, administration and, most of all, the teaching staff. Sparkman received the 2007 Leopard for Life Award for her continuous support of L-EISD.
