Texarkana, Texas, recently received good marks from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on an annual review of its Community Development Block Grant Program. ‘Its like a report card from HUD’ City Manager George Shackelford said. HUD is required to complete a review annually of cities who receive CDBG dollars to make sure the program is being carried out properly. The report congratulated the city on its accomplishments in its CDBG program.
