The pets of the week are Macy, a playful gray tabby cat about 1 year old, and Bullet, a gray male Weimaraner mix under 6 months of age. The fee to adopt dogs is $25. Cats can be adopted two for $25. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Texarkana Animal Shelter, 203 Harrison St. All animals have been wormed and received their seven-in-one shots. Puppies, dogs and cats will be available for adoption from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at PetSmart.
