Circle J Cowboy Church will host a country gospel music concert featuring The Babcocks at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, 6912 Blackman Ferry Road. The talented trio includes Cowboy Joe Babcock of ‘Hee Haw fame, his wife, alto vocalist Carol, and their singer/songwriter daughter Lorrie. Their group has won 24 industry awards in country and gospel music, including three Country Gospel Music Guilds Trio of the Year awards. The Babcocks recently have released an acoustical project, ‘Appalachian Songbird’ featuring the international hit, ‘You Wont Take Nothin With You When You Go.
