Town hall meetings focus on meth awareness

Bowie County Sheriffs Office is partnering with the East Texas Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse to hold a series of town hall meetings about methamphetamine awareness. ‘The meth problem is continually growing. Each and every one of us knows somebody who is using this poison’ said Bowie County Sheriff James Prince. The meetings will be held at local schools and are aimed at reaching as many people as possible. Prince said one goal of the meetings is to take away the shame from family members of drug addicts.
