Not even Mother Nature could stop a group of Texarkana Arkansas Baseball Association volunteers Saturday. Several people turned out at Ed Worrell Memorial Park to ensure that, despite rain-drenched fields, TABAs first attempt at a USSSA tournament was a success. Some came out Friday night to prepare the fields for the torrential downpour early Saturday morning, and still more showed up as early as 6:30 a.m. and sat in a dugout in anticipation of the rain stopping.
