A Columbia County woman died Saturday after a motorcycle accident near Waldo, Ark. Cathy Lopez, 58, of Magnolia, Ark., was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Julia Key and taken to Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia. Lopez was riding a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on Columbia County Road 41 when she failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle went into a ditch and Lopez was ejected. The accident was investigated by Sgt. Jeff Thomas with the Arkansas State Police.
