The Bowie County Agricultural Extension Service will hold its annual beef and forage field day from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 11 at the A-Bar Ranch off Farm to Market Road 1397 just north of Texarkana, Texas. Registration will start at 9:30 a.m.; the program begins at 10. Program topics will include marketing strategies for all producers including forage production for profit-minded producers, wildlife pest control and Cattle Max as a herd management tool. A noon meal will be served.
