In Brief: Free classes for GED preparation

The Texarkana Adult Education Center is offering free general adult education preparation classes. Students 18 and older can qualify by passing a pre-test and attending 12 classes. Classes will be:

6:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. today at the Fouke High School Library.

8 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. through 3:30 p.m. Monday at the former Carver Kindergarten at 2300 Preston St.

5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Genoa High School.
