A lucky Texarkanian got the chance of a lifetime recently to be a contestant on the long-standing daytime TV game show, ‘The Price is Right. Liz Patterson of Texarkana, Texas, attended a taping of the show last month and was chosen from hundreds of hopefuls to be a contestant in the game where players win prizes by correctly guessing an items value. The opportunity arose from an all-girls vacation to California with her mother, aunt and cousin. Patterson said it was her ‘sole purpose on the trip to attend the show.
