Thirty-two pieces of art from Region 8 Visual Arts Scholastic Event will be sent on to the state VASE competition to be held April 14 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Of those, 25 are from Pleasant Grove High School, including five exhibitions from seniors. The winners were selected based on student interviews and artwork score. Pleasant Grove students were divided into four categories based on the level of artwork for the state competition.
