Jack Smith and volunteers accept a $3,000 grant to assist with delivering services to the indigent in the Texarkana area. The clinic was among 14 health care clinics in Arkansas to receive a grant from the Pringle Family Charitable Endowment Fund. The family requested assistance from the Arkansas Community Foundation and its 25 affiliates to notify qualified agencies of the grant opportunity. The Texarkana Area Community Foundation provided information and grant criteria to the Peoples Clinic.
