South Texarkana Baptist Church will host an Easter extravaganza from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 409 S. State Line Ave. The event, managed by C.K. Ranch of Texarkana and sponsored by two church members, will include a petting zoo complete with miniature goats, horses, donkeys and rabbits; pony rides; train rides, face-painting; and jumbo inflatable toys. In addition, an Easter egg hunt is planned and free hot dogs will be served. The Rev. Travis Payne, pastor, is excited about the ministry opportunities of the activities.
