Mixing children and Easter eggs was a scramble Saturday to find the best prizes at the eighth annual Gator Egg Hunt held at Spring Lake Park. ‘We had about 2,500 people registered. It was a great day, a little cool, but we still had a great crowd and a lot of fun’ said Jesse Buchanan, director of Texarkana, Texas, Parks and Recreation Department. The Easter egg hunt corralled 15,000 eggs and toys for children and was sponsored by Texarkana, Texas, Parks and Recreation and Texarkana Radio. Splattered eggs lined the pavement after the Gator Egg Toss.
