Labradors and their handlers gave a Texarkana audience the chance to see exciting trials of skill Saturday at Tiger Stadium at Grim Park. ‘Todays events were an exhibition to show people what all retrievers do’ said Dr. Greg Payne of Magnolia, Ark., a member of Four States Hunting Retriever Club. Payne who has two Labradors, helped throw duck shaped bumpers from the sidelines of the football field. ‘What we are doing is to educate the public on the different levels of tests and to get them excited about retriever events’ said Gabe Carr, president of Four States HRC.<...
