A woman of God and a petty thief are both believers that God does work in mysterious ways. Brent Allan LaCounte, 21, received two years probation Thursday for stealing from the North Texarkana Church of the Nazarene. LaCounte was riding his scooter in the churchs parking lot one afternoon when he decided to go inside and use the bathroom. After finding the church empty, LaCounte took $75 worth of disposable cameras, batteries, a flashlight and a small clock.
