Some insurance policies not as good as they seem

At 90, Rosa Lee Sewell still values the independence of living alone. But she recently needed help from her daughter to navigate all the problems created by switching her managed Medicare plan. Sewell lost coverage because the new plan does not offer as much coverage as she had before, her daughter said. Sewell, who retired from Bryces and Lubys in the 1980s, got a phone call from a friendly salesman from Texarkana Community Care last month promising an improved medical plan.
