Texarkana, Texas, City Council members will consider the reappointment of four Texarkana, Texas, police captains to the interim police chief position when they meet at 7 tonight at City Hall. They also will hold another executive session concerning City Manager George Shackelford. Shackelford has reappointed Captains Joe Bunting, Tony Autry, Danny Presley and Michael Henry to serve as interim police chiefs on a rotating basis.
