The fifth annual ‘Send a Scout to Camp Golf Scramble will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Texarkana Country Club. Team captains are signing up golfers and sponsors to participate in the four-person scramble format. Proceeds will help send local Boy Scouts from the Caddo Area Council to camping venues through a local scholarship program. Many boys might otherwise not be able to attend a camp because of financial hardships. The cost to enter is $150 per person or $600 for a team. The entry fee will include the 18-hole green fee, golf cart, lunch, dinner, awards and prizes.
