Because of the Help America Vote Act of 2002, the Nash City Council agreed Monday to provide an electronic voting machine for physically disabled voters for next months election. The council agreed to rent at least one AutoMARK Voter Assist Terminal from Bowie County to be available to Nash voters May 12. The electronic terminal will cost about $1,000 to lease, said Nash City Administrator Elizabeth Lea. In other business, the council agreed to designate May 18-29 as the annual municipal cleanup days for this year.
