Meeting less than two hours, the Texarkana, Texas, City Council came out of a closed meeting late Monday night with no resolution regarding City Manager George Shackelford. Shackelford was the subject of the closed meeting, the second in less than a week. ‘Weve got a lot to think about’ said Mayor James Bramlett. The meeting began about 9 p.m. after the council worked its way through regular business.
