NEW BOSTON, Texas Trinity River will be in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at Faith Assembly of God. Gayla Payte, Debbie Reed and Meri McAlexander make up the contemporary Southern gospel group and have sung together since 1996. The group has two recording projects: ‘Choose Life in 2001 and ‘Say the Word in 2002. Both were produced in Nashville, Tenn., and contain original material and gospel standards. Since recording their first CD, the trio has performed at churches, festivals and other events.
