Fourteen Miller County Sheriffs Office correctional officers found out firsthand what it feels like to be doused with pepper spray Friday afternoon. As part of a training exercise required for certification to use the non-lethal weapon, the officers took a face full of oleoresin capsicum spray. ‘In order to carry it, they have to experience it’ explained Sgt.
