Projections of actual employment growth in the nine-county area served by the North East Texas Workforce Development Board show a 17.3 percent growth rate between 2004 and 2014. The figures were recently released by the Texas Workforce Commission and cover estimated employment levels in Bowie, Cass, Red River, Morris, Titus, Red River, Franklin, Hopkins, Delta and Lamar counties.
