A bid of $166,860 for two 77-passenger school buses was approved by the Texarkana, Ark., School District board during its regular meeting Tuesday. The buses will be purchased from Diamond State Bus Co. with funds from the 2007-08 operating budget. Out of six possible options for the 2007-08 school year calendar, the board voted to send options two and six back to the personnel policy committee for 10 days to satisfy state legal requirements.
