NEW BOSTON, Texas A local pharmacy and its pharmacist in charge have been temporarily suspended, according to records. The Texas State Board of Pharmacy suspended the pharmacist licenses of Family Health Mart and its president, pharmacist Danny Elkins, earlier this month for filling and dispensing medications without the supervision or presence of a pharmacist. The boards disciplinary panel determined ‘continuation of operation of the pharmacy would constitute a continuing threat to the public welfare.
