An investigation into the alleged unauthorized use of a City of Ashdown vehicle by a city employee has been suspended, according to a report by the Ashdown Police Department. The allegations were made during the Ashdown City Council meeting April 9 when Carroll McLarty said an Ashdown vehicle was seen in the parking lot of an Idabel, Okla., casino. Ashdown City Attorney Jay Metzger asked Ashdown police investigators Jason Curtis and Doyle Crouch to start an investigation.
