James Mansinger resigned Friday as baseball coach and athletic director at Texarkana College after being told by TC President Frank Coleman the college was going to ‘dismiss his employment and terminate his contract. The resignation comes one week after Mansinger was placed on suspension because of an allegation of misconduct made by a female student. But instead of being fired, Mansinger resigned his position, which had an annual salary of $42,780. Mansinger could not be reached for comment Friday.
