The Greater Texarkana Branch of the NAACP will host a political forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest Center, 3322 W. Seventh St. Candidates for the upcoming City Council election have been invited to participate. Also, James Henry Russell, deputy superintendent for the Texarkana Independent School District, will make a presentation on the May 12 bond election. The NAACP wants voters to be informed voters.
