The Junior League of Texarkana is selling its downtown property located at 118 East Broad. ‘Were trying to relocate...because it really doesnt suit our needs’ said Kristen Giles, president of the local organization. ‘Weve looked to see if we could hold our meetings downstairs but its not big enough. The building housed the Junior Leagues Thrift Store until it closed in May of last year. ‘Were hoping someone will come in and buy it. It would be a great asset to downtown if a different type of business came in there’ Giles said.
