Hunting dogs and their handlers will be taking to the fields and streams today as The Texas 2007 International Grand Hunt continues. ‘For most people who have hunting dogs, this is the Super Bowl. These are some of the best hunting dogs in the world’ said Charlie Jurney of Terrell, N.C., a professional dog trainer with 25 years experience. Dogs and handlers are put through two land trials and two water trials each on a different day. The competitions began April 21 and will continue until April 25. Teams that pass all trials earn points and are honored for passing at Grand Hunts....
