Texarkana Independent School District will host a series of community workshops to provide information and answers to the most frequently asked questions about the upcoming $27 million bond election. The bond election, set for Saturday, May 12, features a decreased tax rate from $1.57 per $100 valuation annually to $1.27. Early voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning April 30 through May 8 from at the TISD administrative offices located at 4241 Summerhill Road.
