A Texarkana, Texas, man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 22 counts of wire fraud related to alleged investment scams and one count of impersonating a drug enforcement agent. Mark Wayne Jaster, 48, appeared Tuesday before federal Magistrate Judge Caroline Craven. Jaster, who is accused of acting as an independent investment broker, will appear before Craven again Friday for an arraignment and detention hearing.
