From histories to mysteries, romance novels to self-help books, the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale promises something to satisfy diverse literary interests. The sale will begin with a special preview sale for Friends of the Library members from 5 to 8 tonight at 320 W. Broad St., downtown. Books will be half-price for members, and memberships are available at the door for $8. ‘The Friends welcome new members at the door’ said Pat Abernathy, a Friends of the Library volunteer. The sale will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
