Liberty-Eylau ISD Middle School students leave the Rader Dome on the high school campus to return to class Wednesday morning. The middle school was evacuated after lightning struck a nearby oil disposal tank and set it on fire. Texarkana Gazette Lightning struck an oil disposal tank early Wednesday in Liberty-Eylau, causing an explosion that prompted the evacuation of the nearby middle school. No one was injured and the evacuation was only a precaution, officials said. ‘Any time oil is burning there is a potential hazard.
