With plans in the works to build an emergency access road to the Texarkana Regional Airports future southern main entrance, the airports Authority Board sees the need to clear some land. The board agreed Thursday to allow Airport Director Stephen Luebbert to approach the Texarkana, Texas, City Council and the Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors to ask permission to cut and harvest 64 acres of airport forest land.
