Federal authorities have assumed custody of a Texarkana, Ark., man alleged to have made an attempt at robbing the Century Bank on New Boston Road last week. Emmanuel Grover Davis, 38, was remanded to the custody of federal marshals Wednesday after appearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Caroline Craven of the Eastern District of Texas. Federal prosecutors have 30 days to acquire a grand jury indictment for Davis, according to the U.S. attorneys office.
