ASHDOWN, Ark. Jacks Isle Baptist Church will host its annual family day barbecue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The day also will offer residents an opportunity to fellowship and listen to gospel music. Included in the musical lineup are James Lipscombe of Paris, Texas, and Teresa Duncan of Texarkana. The church offers outreach activities for the community, including its monthly First Sunday singing.
