ASHDOWN, Ark. Marty Haggard is a ‘Wayfaring Stranger with a history. He walked alone Thursday from his modest motor home parked next to the Central Baptist Church Family Life Center to the Little River County Courthouse in Ashdown. Haggard, a thin man with round eyeglasses and a two-day-old beard, had to walk behind the main church building and underneath a carport to get to his destination. Once there, he was the featured performer Thursday during the Little River County Senior Citizens Celebration and Health Fair on the courthouse lawn.
