Local cowboy Rodney Hayes, known as the ‘Texas Kid has participated in rodeos all his life and will return to Linden to participate in the Cass County Championship Rodeo at 8 p.m. today and Saturday as the specialty act. Hayes said he hopes bringing his act home for the kickoff event at the associations new arena will help the Cass County Championship Rodeo Association grow.
