STAMPS, Ark. An apparent feud between the Stamps Police Chief Robert Drake and Lafayette County Sheriff Victor C. Rose resulted in Drake being fired by the Stamps mayor Friday afternoon. A ‘disagreement started developing about two weeks ago after Drake and the sheriffs department argued over whether a citizens complaint should have been a criminal investigation or a civil action.
