Today is the first chance citizens in Wards 2 and 5 have to cast their votes for who they want to represent them on the Texarkana, Texas City Council. Early voting for the Wards 2 and 5 City council opens at 8 a.m. today at City Hall and lasts each day until 5 p.m. on May 8.
