Texarkana Area CrimeStoppers has started its annual spring fund-raising campaign. CrimeStoppers is a nonprofit organization staffed by volunteers and is funded entirely by tax deductible donations from the community. The organization involves the public, the media and area law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime. It offers cash rewards up to $1,000. People who furnish information remain anonymous and will be paid award money if the tip leads to the arrest or indictment for felony crime offenders .
