For local resident Victoria Godfrey, it seemed like an easy prospect recently to walk into a Texarkana convenience store and buy her favorite soda. But after paying for gas at the pump with her debit/credit card, it was anything but easy to go inside and buy a Coca-Cola Black Cherry Vanilla with the same card. Godfrey said when the cashier attendant saw her with her card and soda in tow, she was told there was a minimum $4 purchase required. ‘And I basically said, Youre kidding’ said Godfrey, who said she doesnt feel its good customer service to inconvenience customers.
