A Memorial Day service conducted Sunday by the Texarkana Area Veterans Council and hosted by East Memorial Gardens was a reunion of thanks and memories for attending veterans, their families and the public. ‘Were here for one purpose, to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and to honor their memory’ said Ret.
