ASHDOWN, Ark. Jessie Ricks, formerly a lieutenant deputy with the Little River Sheriffs Department, was fired Friday following an investigation into a single-car crash involving an unmarked 2007 Chevy Impala patrol car. ‘We gave him a chance to resign, and he refused’ Sheriff Danny Russell said. Lt. Ricks was fired about 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
