The Southwest Arkansas High School Rodeo Association will hold finals at the Four States Fairgrounds Arena this weekend. Cowboys and cowgirls ages 6 to 19 “cowboy-up” in hopes of winning this year’s rodeo competition. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. today and continues at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Participants from the Ark-La-Tex and Oklahoma have been competing all year in anticipation of this event.

The top 15 competitors will take home part of the $40,000 purse, a brand new saddle or a championship buckle. Tickets will be on sale at the door the night of the event. Admiss...
